About Matric finals
The 2026 NSC finals run from Monday 12 October to Friday 27 November, on the official Department of Basic Education timetable, after prelims in August and September. It is the longest stretch of the school year and the one that counts. Worth having every paper, date and venue somewhere you can check in a second.
