Counting down to Friday, 15 January 2027
This is the usual date, not a confirmed one. The date moves from year to year, and the Department of Basic Education publishes the real one. Use this as a rough guide, then put your own dates into the app once you have your timetable. That countdown will be exact.
About Matric results
NSC results come out in mid January, a few weeks after the finals wrap up. After a year of prelims, trials and the finals themselves, it is the last countdown of matric, and the first one of whatever comes next.
