Now in 12 languages, with your choice of alert sound
Exam Countdown 5.7 speaks your language: the whole app, its widgets and every alert are now available in 12 languages. Plus a choice of alert sounds, alert times for all-day exams, and invite links that open straight in the app.
New
- 12 languages. The whole app, every widget and every alert, in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese, Turkish, Hindi, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. The app follows your iPhone's language automatically.
- Alert sounds. Eight to choose from, with a preview before you pick, synced to your account so every device matches.
- All-day alert time. Choose when alerts for all-day exams arrive, in 15 minute steps, instead of a fixed 9am.
- Test notification. Check your whole setup from Settings: a permission checklist, then a real test alert using your chosen sound.
- Copy Exam. Duplicate a paper and change the details, for subjects with more than one sitting (Premium).
Improved
- Invites are now examcountdown.app links that open straight into the app.
- Password reset emails have been redesigned and now arrive from examcountdown.app.
- The app now asks for notification permission at the moment it explains alerts, not the instant it first opens.
Fixed
- All-day exams no longer show a 00:00 time in Calendar View.
- The "set to today" tip now disappears as soon as you tap the date to change it.
- A long list of smaller fixes across sign-in, invites and widgets.
