Exam times look an hour off
Usually a time zone setting that ignores the summer clock change.
An exam that reads 08:00 when you saved it as 09:00 is almost always a time zone question rather than a lost hour.
Check your device time zone
iOS Settings → General → Date & Time. Leave Set Automatically on.
The specific trap in the UK: a device set to a fixed GMT rather than to a place like London does not move with the summer clock change, so everything reads an hour out from late March to late October. Setting it to the city rather than the offset fixes it for good.
If you entered the exam while abroad
An exam saved on a phone that was on another country's time keeps the moment it was saved as. Open it and re-save the time now you are home.
Everything else is right, one exam is out
Just open that exam and correct the time. Faster than working out how it happened.
