Colours and icons
Give every subject its own look, and find any icon fast with search.
A timetable you can read at a glance beats a tidy one. Colour is what does that work.
Set a colour
Open an exam, tap Colour, and pick one. The row, the countdown screen and any widget following that exam all pick it up.
The one rule worth following: give adjacent subjects contrasting colours. If Chemistry and Biology are both green, you will misread your own list on the morning it matters.
Pick an icon
Tap Icon and choose from more than 400. There is a beaker for the sciences, a calculator for maths, a stack of books for languages, a Roman helmet for history, a microscope, a camera, a globe. Most subjects have something obvious.
Use the search box at the top rather than scrolling. Type "maths", "biology" or "art" and it will find the right one.
Icons you have used recently sit at the top under Recently Used, so a whole season of subjects takes a couple of minutes to set up.
Keep it consistent
If you use the same colour and icon for every paper in a subject (Chemistry Paper 1, Paper 2 and the practical all in the same red beaker), the list groups itself visually without you doing anything.
